Job Description
Collaborate with various teams to capture technical information and transcribe it into clear documentation for internal and external use in a medical device environment.
ResponsibilitiesDistill technical information into accessible documentation.Support the formatting and proofreading of the Design History File (DHF) for the generator New Product Introduction (NPI).Work with software architecture documents, operator manuals, and labeling instructions.Comprehend and document embedded and firmware medical device products.Develop trace matrixes and upstream documentation.Support new contract manufacturers by writing and releasing design change orders.Provide oversight on proper documentation for regulatory submissions.Essential SkillsMedical device experience and understanding of an ISO13485 environment.Proficiency in technical writing, specifically within medical devices.Experience with DHF, firmware, change orders, quality inspection plans, regulatory submissions, and design control.Experience working with complex products such as electromechanical devices, robotics, generators, and diagnostics/biotech.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Verge Quality Management System (QMS) is a plus.Quality Experience background is preferred.5 years of professional experience in a medical device environment.Work Environment
The role initially requires working Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, transitioning to a hybrid model with 3 days on-site once performance is steady. Work in a state-of-the-art facility in Santa Clara, contributing to innovative electronic product development.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00/hr.
