To learn more please visit http://www.convatecgroup.com About the role The Local MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Champion is part of the Operations team, and it is the site owner and single point of contact for the MES application. Local MES Champion is responsible for driving the implementation in the local site, continuous improvement of the MES System (Delmia Apriso) and support operations on the daily bases to keep the system updated and fully operational, Support digital transformation actions and projects of local operations. The Local MES Champion and MES Global Implementation Teams will be responsible for designing, configuring, building, demonstrating, testing, training, and deploying MES solutions for Convatec. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of MES implementation and System functionality initiatives with Local business objectives, and overseeing the deployment of MES application to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. This role will work closely with MES Global Implementation team MES CoE Team and local engineering, IT, production, Maintenance, Automation, and local Leadership team to deliver innovative solutions with MES Platform and manage the local MES lifecycle. **Key duties and Responsibilities** + Manage the implementation plan from the local site bases, this means, responsible for to execute, coordinate and follow up All actions agreed with the Global Program manager. Project management of the local activities assigned on the global Gantt Chart. + Work alongside the Manufacturing shopfloor teams to provide coach, support and guide on MES adoption and implementation + Be an accountable leader of the MES implementation across all teams and functions + Be responsible for ensuring the scope of work is defined, delivered on time, on budget, and realizes the value for Convatec + Manage risk identification and mitigation activities + Remove roadblocks by working with the Product team, Program Leadership, Project/Program Sponsorship, Functional Leadership as needed + Support the Change Management and technology adoption locally. + Support the System after the go-live to keep it fully functional, raising ticket to IT if it is need it, support all end users with system issues and training as need it. **Skills and Experience** + Prior experience in MES system is desirable or any experience related to implementation of software systems within manufacturing. + Project Management skills and demonstrated experience. + Demonstrated experience implementing IT systems. + Good knowledge of IT systems with ability to handle trouble shoot and solve problems. + Soft skills and competencies are essential for success in the role. + Effective written and verbal communication, technical analysis, problem solving, and investigative skills. + Willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job. + There will be a need to understand MES systems including configuration, integration with other solutions, and how MES is used to support the business process. + Experience working on global teams across organizational levels with the ability to collaborate across a diverse, multi-functional team. + Good understanding/exposure of manufacturing production processes + Good understanding/exposure to PLC, control networks within manufacturing + Good understanding/exposure to GxP validated systems and processes. **Qualification and Education** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT/Manufacturing/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial) o Administration. + Master’s degree - Desirable + Professional certification in project management, six sigma, IT related or relevant – Desirable + Fluent English **What you’ll** **g** **et:** •Competitive salary + bonus •Training & development •Collaborative, supportive culture **Ready to join us?** At Convatec, we’re pioneering trusted medical solutions to improve the lives we touch.
