Purpose

The Senior Technical Project Manager – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems leads the implementation of large-scale enterprise application projects, preferably Out-of-Box Cloud Solutions. This role focuses on the project management functions of implementing ERP applications such as Finance, HCM/Payroll, Supply Chain, and CRM. The position requires a strong PM practitioner with deep experience in both Waterfall/SDLC and Agile/Iterative methodologies.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Leads project planning and coordination of ERP implementations including configuration management, role-based security, data conversions, integrations, reporting tools, licensing, tenant and release management, testing, training, and change management.

Manages hybrid project methodologies including Waterfall/SDLC and Agile/Iterative approaches.

Engages stakeholders and end users through governance, training, and change management.

Coordinates cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure project alignment and delivery.

Ensures technical and operational readiness including testing, cutover, and post-implementation support.

Marginal or Periodic Functions:

Participates in strategic planning and budgeting cycles.

Supports internal audits and compliance reviews.

Assists in vendor selection and RFP processes.

Conducts training on project management tools and methodologies.

Represents IT in cross-departmental committees.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager

Equivalent education or experience may be substituted

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

Required: PMP (Project Management Professional)

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, or related field

Experience in Healthcare or Higher Education

Familiarity with Workday, PeopleSoft/Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

Preferred:​ PMI-ACP, ITIL Foundation, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Salary Range

$110,000 + depending on qualifications
