What is the opportunity?

Join the Global Credit Technology team as we continuously deliver new products to modernize operational business processes by delivering enterprise grade solutions. We are seeking a talented and adaptable lead developer to maintain an existing portfolio of applications and deliver new business capabilities to our credit business in Capital Markets.
 

Day to day, your work runs the full SDLC scope, from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deploying to production and providing knowledge transfer to support teams. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, juggling competing priorities, and will be communicating directly with business stakeholders to understand the use cases and ensuring your solution is fit for purpose.
 

What will you do?

Responsible for the design and development of .NET applications, as well as the backend processes.

Leads and guides cross-functional team to translate business requirements into flexible, scalable, maintainable, and extendable solutions to support business strategy

On a day-to-day basis, works closely with business partners, analysts, and developers to develop integrated solutions and to ensure successful completion of project objectives within budget, and on time

Review, analyze, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Strong programming experience in multi-tier applications based on Microsoft .NET technology stack including C#, VB.NET, MVC, Webforms, Web Services, REST API’s and popular client-side technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, and bootstrap

Experience with .NET based server side technologies and creating/consuming from a REST backend

Experience with relational database programming (e.g. Sybase, SQL Server)

Experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing

Self-motivated – driven to get results, takes initiative and needs minimum oversight.

Nice-to-have

Experience with IBMi (AS/400) environment in programming and troubleshooting

Experience with IBMi DB2 database programming (SQL, Stored Procedures)

Experience developing in CL and Java (development on windows with deployment to the IBMi)

Experience with ACBS and LANSA development
