Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical assurance across roads/highways, utilities, landscape/public realm, and commercial buildings for a commercial strip development.

What You'll Be Doing:

Review IFC, shop drawings, and coordination drawings for compliance with specs, codes, and employer’s requirements.Coordinate technical queries and design clarifications with the design consultant; ensure timely, traceable closure.Conduct constructability and maintainability reviews; identify design gaps and interface risksReview and recommend materials, method statements, temporary works, ITPs, mock-ups, and samples for approval.Track and validate NOCs/permits/authority approvals; ensure contractor adherence to authority comments and conditionsLead technical site supervision oversight and independent inspections; verify compliance before consultant/authority sign-offs.Direct root-cause analysis and closure of NCRs/SORs; verify FAT/SAT and performance tests.Ensure survey controls, as-builts accuracy, and builder’s work coordination

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 15 years of technical engineering experience, with at least 5–8 years in the UAE and strong Abu Dhabi authority exposure.Proven Consultant experience on mixed-use/commercial and infrastructure/landscape programs.Strong stakeholder management and communication; excellent technical writing and review skills.English fluency required; Arabic an advantage.
