Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant - IoT with 8+ years of experience who are passionate about the exciting world of digital technologies, including the Internet of Things, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
You will assume the role of IoT Sr. Technical Consultant for the Enterprise Technology Practice. You will be based in Balewadi, Pune and will work in hybrid. You will report to the Manager, Software Engineering.
As an IoT Sr. Technical Consultant, you will work in a client-facing role for an established global clientele, helping them apply to lead ThingWorx IoT, Advanced Analytics, and Augmented Reality capabilities to challenging business problems. Our focus is on helping clients extract business value from cutting-edge IoT capabilities, not just on making the technology work. In this role, you will help design, develop, and test solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Goods, and Retail.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Software Development, or related.Experience developing in Java, C#.NET, JavaScript, SQL languages or relatedCompetency in Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational databases5+ years of experience working with different platforms such as Windows Server and Linux5+ years of experience working with typical IT integration technologies: REST, SOAP, batch, queues5+ years of experience with ThingWorx IoT service and mashup development3+ years of experience with Data operations platforms like Cognite, Data bricks is recommended.3+ years of experience with advanced analytics and machine learning disciplines like model development, training, validation, and deployment3+ years of experience integrating ThingWorx with 'Big Data' platformsWorking knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and identity managementGeneral knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions.Ability to present technical solutions and lead demo sessions with stakeholdersManagement to help develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-inWillingness to travel up to 25%.Your Responsibilities:
