Our client designs and deliver mission-critical HR tech solutions used by governments and public institutions worldwide — helping millions of people find jobs today and prepare for tomorrow. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to help our client scale these solutions responsibly, pragmatically, and at pace.

This is not your average consulting gig. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, data, and delivery — working hands-on while guiding stakeholders through complex environments. Think of it as consulting with purpose, tech with integrity, and impact that lasts.

 

What You’ll Do

Be the technical backbone of every delivery

Design, configure, deploy, and fine-tune the platform — hands-on and end-to-end.

Set up and optimize ETL pipelines that make the most of clients’ data.

Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and scripting tools like Python and Bash.

Keep architecture clean, scalable, and maintainable — no over-engineering on your watch.

Ensure AI components are used responsibly: transparent, ethical, and aligned with public trust.

Lead stakeholder conversations with credibility and clarity

Act as a trusted advisor to public sector clients making high-stakes decisions.

Navigate politically sensitive, multi-stakeholder environments with confidence.

Bridge the gap between product, sales, data science, dev teams, and customer success.

Own delivery, end to end

Collaborate in cross-functional teams — business consultants, data scientists, architects, PMs.

Keep delivery on track, on scope, and aligned with commercial and technical boundaries.

Balance client needs with product integrity — know when to flex and when to push back.

Ensure training, documentation, and support handovers are clear and complete.

  What You Bring

 Must-haves

5+ years in technical delivery roles (e.g. implementation consultant, solution engineer).

Experience in public sector or similarly complex stakeholder environments.

Strong hands-on skills: databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.), scripting (Python/Bash), AWS, containers.

Solid understanding of data flows, systems architecture, and technical trade-offs.

Excellent communicator with fluency in English.

Strong stakeholder instincts: you build trust, inspire confidence, and keep people aligned.

Proactive, collaborative, and calm under pressure.

Have a valid resident and work status in the Netherlands

Nice-to-haves

Multilingual (Spanish, French, German, Dutch).

Experience in AI/Data Science and its ethical implementation.

Background in HR tech, staffing, or public employment systems.

Familiarity with Agile, PMP, Prince2, or IPMA frameworks (certs = bonus points).
