Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. We’re fast moving from a B2B to a B2C model – and our newly created Customer Centric Organization (CCO) team is driving that commercial transformation. Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products.
Purpose of the job:
Manage the Brand Activation and Engagement strategy and deployment in Canaries, developing a solid strategy to activate consumers across the islands in all the physical experiential channels: LAMP's, events (3rd party & owned) & retail activation. You will be accountable to generate the brand engagement strategy to connect consumers on/offline across the different experiential touchpoints, with special focus in generate brand building through category understanding and brand awareness among LANU, and bond & advocacy among current LAU. Activating the relevant communitites to achieve organic amplification and recommendation in coordination with multicategory Strategy. In line with the multicategory strategy and marketing calendar, the Brand Activation & Engagement Team Lead will ensure the coordination of the Brand Activation Field Specialists (located in the 2 key cities: Santa Cruz de Tenerife & Las Palmas de Gran Canaria creating and deploying a Brand Activation Platform, with excellence execution, generating a strong engagement among relevant communities and territories, and contributing to engage and convert canarian adult smokers to IQOS) and the Brand Engagement Specialist, to put in place the own events, third party events and seasonal activities strategy and deployment in all the market. You will manage the strategic integration of the platform among the different commercial and corporative stakeholders.Together with commercial team, you will be responsible to activate our Brand Activation ecosystem driving traffic and creating relevant experiences to connect the brand with consumers, generating relevant brand / category awareness driven by premium experiences linked with our brand values.You will coordinate and execute together with his/her team, the Brand Activation Strategy ensuring compliance with PMI Policies, managing the budget control and legal approvals and coordinating relevant stakeholders needed for succed (such as EA, Media, Digital / CRM Teams).You will ensure global and regional consistency among the activities, collaborating with other engagement teams to find synergies and optimize resources (specially with the Iberian Cluster). Principal Accountabilities Accountability 1:Design and create the brand / consumer engagement strategy with an omnichannel approach to capitalize all experiential touchpoints in the canarian Market, defining the best engagement opportunities per consumer journey phase for LANU & LAU. Ensure global / local brand alignment during the process and execution. Accountability 2:Responsible of all brand engagement activities deployed in the market, negotiating and discovering strategic opportunities to maximize investments and brand presence. Collaborates in the brand ecosystem creation for the execution in this opportunities, providing the team with accurate accountabilities to progress their knowledge in this area. Final responsible for the excellence on the execution in all experiential touchpoints. Accountability 3:Manage the Brand Activation team in the islands, ensuring a strong network and engagement in the key cities, empowering the team in relevant negotiations for the LAMPs infrastructure, events execution, cummunity and relevant KOL activation and individual budget management. Accountability 4:Generate strong relations among critical stakeholders in PMI, maximizing the business opportunities and collaboration with Direct / Indirect Retail, Trade Engagement, Programs (specially IQOS CLUB), digital & media guaranteeing the brand activation strategy integrity and execution. Accountability 5:Collaborate in full BTL/Engagement strategy, deriving from Insights/numbers, delivering on highest brand potential, building and realizing brand engagement fine concepts (omni-channel approach) in an impactful and effective way incl. monitoring and analysis on deployed concepts, based on local consumer trends / brand territories.Ensure effective collaboration with P1 Brand Content to align brand communication to the designed brand experiences. Accountability 6: Coordinate all the reporting tools / monitoring together with Market Analytics Team, inside the unit related with activations, KPI’s, stock management, production, etc. that will be monitored on a weekly / monthly /quarterly basis.Comply with the internal and external policies and approval processes necessary to guarantee the execution of the strategy on time, budget and quality. Who we are looking for:- 7+ years of Experience in FMCG- English C1 (Business level)- Degree in Marketing or related field- Strong Negotiation skills- Experience leading teams
