Air Products has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The position focuses on U.S. tax reporting, compliance, and analysis. The Senior Tax Analyst will also focus on tax technology and support compliance process improvement, tax automation, and tax modeling projects.

Responsible for the accurate preparation of the assigned international portion of the U.S. Income Tax Return Form 1120 including Form 1065, Form 5471, Form 8858, Form 8865, and related elections and supporting schedulesResponsible for preparation of quarterly federal and state tax estimatesAssist with the preparation, analysis, and review of the quarterly income tax provision.Provide support to senior tax planners on development, analysis, and implementation of tax planning projectsAct as the primary administrator for tax compliance software (e.g., Alteryx, Corptax, etc.), overseeing user access, system configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.Support the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns by ensuring systems are properly configured and data is accurately imported and validated.Collaborate with tax team members to automate workflows, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities within compliance platforms.Provide training and ongoing support to tax staff on software functionality and best practices.Provide support in response to U.S. tax auditsResearch U.S. and state tax issuesDevelop expertise in using the Company’s financial systems (SAP), tax software (Corptax), and other data tools (Alteryx)Assist with International Tax compliance tasks as neededQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplineMasters in Taxation, preferredFive (5) plus years relevant experience in large multinational corporate tax environment and/or top tier accounting firm preferredThe position requires a good working knowledge of USGAAP Accounting and U.S. international tax principlesStrong data and analytical skillsFlexibility to operate in a fast-paced, complex environmentAbility to multitask and prioritize deadlinesAble to work independently and as a member of a team; with a curiosity and desire to learnStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience using the Corptax Income Tax compliance software is beneficialShould be experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel)Air Products proudly values the skills, dedication, and leadership that veterans offer.
