**Job Description:**
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst for its cross-sector Switzerland Tax Center (STC). The STC is responsible for local and cross-border tax planning, tax compliance, tax audits , review of tax provisions and of US tax legal reporting for Swiss companies and is also engaged in local tax advocacy.
The candidate’s work location will be in Zug (Switzerland) and the position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Work Model and may require limited travel (domestic).
There is potential flexibility for this role to be performed on reduced hours (80%).
**What you’ll do**
+ Support a wide variety of direct tax activities for the Swiss group entities, such as preparation and submission of the corporate income tax returns, tax payments, withholding tax forms and any other direct tax formalities;
+ Review corporate income tax provision calculations and initiate tax payments and refunds;
+ Provide support on Swiss domestic and cross-border corporate tax matters, M&A and L&A, including discussions and negotiations with Swiss federal and cantonal tax authorities, tax audits and local tax planning and advocacy;
+ Contribute and assist in determining and implementing ongoing process improvements in the field of data analytics, tax compliance and tax technology;
+ Develop strong business knowledge and tax know-how through training and knowledge sharing;
+ Close interaction and strong partnering and collaboration with other Country Tax Centres, Corporate Tax, Sector Tax, Global Disputes and Transfer Pricing, Swiss and regional direct and indirect tax professionals, Government Affairs and business partners such as Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Treasury, HR, Payroll and Legal.
**Qualifications**
+ Sound understanding of Swiss tax principles.
+ A degree in Finance/Economics/Law, with and additional specialization in tax, is preferred.
+ Proven experience with Swiss corporate tax compliance is preferred.
+ Advanced Excel/equivalent ( _e.g._ Alteryx) skills and ability to utilize other technology resources and systems.
+ Data savvy and demonstrate proficiency in using and leveraging digital tools and platform to enhance productivity, standardization and communication and eagerness to embrace new technologies.
+ Good command and communication and working skills in English _and_ either German or French.
+ Knowledge of Tax Accounting is a plus.
+ Ability to independently prioritize and manage due dates.
+ Result driven and able to operate within an international environment with a proactive and hands-on approach.
