Senior Tax Analyst

This role is responsible for effective reporting and control of the VAT affairs, supporting strategies to optimize overall tax burden while complying with relevant legislation. The scope of work will cover all sub regional subsidiaries across the different businesses.
**Sr. Tax Analyst responsibilities:**
+ Produces VAT return information from the accounting system.
+ Ensures high quality Issue log resolution and initiate corrective actions for the entities in the portfolio
+ Ensures VAT return accuracy and approval within the submission deadline
+ Ensures VAT return reconcilies with the accounting records
+ Ensures on time VAT payments
+ Supports the implementation of new business, systems and processes into the Tax CoE, may participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA
+ Ensures the overall awareness of modification in VAT legislation in own region
+ Supports the (SOX) , External& Internal Audit testing for VAT and other tax cycles, VAT audits
+ Covers various projects for process improvements initiatives or ongoing activitites that require coordination within the team
+ Acts as guidance point for Tax Analysts/Tax Specialists/Interns and deputy supervisor upon needs, may supervise Tax Analsts/Tax Specialists/Interns
+ Develops Technical expertise and drives process standardization in own region
+ Work with the team to review VAT compliance set up in relation to existing business scenarios or newly created business scenarios
+ Contributes to the smooth running of the Tax CoE by performing other tasks as required.
+ Provide support to EMEA Controversy Tax Manager for the tax audits of the entities in own portfolio
+ Coordinates information flow from various internal stakeholders to external service provider regarding Corporate Income Tax calculation
+ May provide ERP source data to external service provider regarding Corporate Income Tax calculation
+ Support US/local tax reporting
**Qualifications:**
+ Finance/ Business Administration degree or similar.
+ Min. 5 years' experience in Finance or Accounting in multinational environment.
+ Min 1.5 year indirect/direct tax knowledge
+ Accounting knowledge.
+ English is a must.
