Purpose

Collaborate internally with business leaders and externally as appropriate with third parties, to support both high volume and niche job hiring, utilizing diverse candidate generation resources. Demonstrate proficiency in pro-active pipeline recruiting designed to identify high quality candidates for current and future needs. Work closely with managers and executives on the recruitment process, thereby increasing the likelihood of a successful placement.



Responsibilities

Leadership and Direction

Receive strategic direction and guidance from the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers in the successful execution of day-to-day recruiting operations.Provide hands-on coaching, performance management, and professional development support to team members.Foster a culture of trust, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaborative partnership across the TA function.

At the Operational and Company Level

Own and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies for designated business units.Carry and manage a requisition load of 20 to 25 open positions while maintaining quality and speed.Build and maintain strong, consultative partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and influence hiring decisions.Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure alignment on hiring plans, budget, and talent strategy.Support employer branding efforts by promoting Bowman’s employee value proposition through digital outreach, events, and content.Contribute to change management efforts and workforce planning initiatives related to organizational growth or transformation.

Do the Work

Manage and optimize all stages of the recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer and onboarding handoff.Use recruiting analytics and operational KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Lead or assist in talent acquisition projects related to process improvement, systems optimization, automation, and candidate experience.Implement scalable, compliant, and effective recruiting workflows using ATS, CRM, and other systems.Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards and reporting to enable data-informed decisions and leadership transparency.Proactively source talent pipelines, leverage external networks, and participate in diversity outreach and professional networking events.Support early career hiring and university recruitment as needed.Provide strategic insight and input to continually evolve the effective use of defined metrics for recruiting and provide timely, accurate and meaningful measurement tools to effectively gauge successful placements.

Success Metrics and Competencies

Ability to translate strategy into execution across a distributed recruiting team.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.High emotional intelligence and commitment to team leadership and collaboration.Demonstrated experience with recruiting analytics and KPI reporting.Comfortable leading through ambiguity and championing process improvements.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Adept at using systems and tools to automate and streamline recruiting workflows.Ability to meet annual hiring and diversity goals and qualify internal client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business, or related field.Ten or more (10+) years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including leadership of recruiting teams or programs.Proven experience driving recruiting strategy and execution in a fast-paced, multi-site or national environment.Proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity.Proficiency with ATS, CRM, and other recruiting technologies. Experience with iCIMS or similar platforms preferred.Understanding of EEO, OFCCP, and other employment law and compliance requirements.Experience supporting professional services or civil engineering sectors preferred.Willingness to travel up to 30 percent for office visits, career fairs, and business engagements.
