The Senior Talent Acquisition Lead US is a Player/Coach, accountable for the US Talent and Talent Acquisition strategy and execution, ensuring HSBC attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The role will support the growth of the business in a simple, customer focused way, mainly focused on entry-level to Sr Manager talent.
This is a leadership role responsible for the people management of the US Talent Acquisition team. Accountable for the demand planning, workforce strategy, delivery of proactive recruitment delivery, as well as talent management and succession planning across all Businesses, Group Infrastructure and entities within the US market, excluding the Executive and Leadership roles.
Additionally, this role will also be the Sr. Recruiter role for Markets & Security Services.
As our Senior Talent Acquisition Lead US you will:
+ Understand recruitment activity specific to this business and client group and execute against the demand plan to ensure sourcing strategy and activities for all open roles are aligned to our talent agenda
+ Understand the external business environment and engage with People Business Partner, business leaders, and our Global team in providing strategic recruitment solutions and services aligned to business priorities
+ Maximize candidate and hiring manager satisfaction through excellent delivery through the full recruitment cycle that is aligned to HSBC purpose, values and strategy
+ Manage stakeholder relationships and related communication
+ Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable regulatory, audit and legislative requirements
+ Be Accountable for building and leading a high performing Talent and Talent Acquisition delivery team in the US, focused on entry-level to Sr. Manager talent.
+ Be Accountable for partnering with Business and People stakeholders locally to understand and respond to business priorities through the delivery of Talent Management and Acquisition strategy and solutions
+ Contribute to the skills strategy aligned to Workforce Strategy with shared accountability for embedding skills strategies across Talent and Talent Acquisition
+ Be Responsible for the delivery of volume and specialist hiring within market for all Businesses and Group Infrastructure, ensuring fulfilment of the demand plan for entry-level to Sr. Manager talent
+ Be Accountable for working across the operating model ensuring an exceptional experience is delivered. For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $215,000.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.At HSBC, our overall goal is to provide a competitive Total Reward Package, with an appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee’s overall total compensation and benefits. **Qualifications**
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
+ Sr. Recruitment experience for financial institutions, preferably with recruitment expertise in Markets & Security Services
+ Ability to advise on a wide range of TA issues, using network to efficiently navigate colleagues to the appropriate place, creating time/cost savings for the function and the Bank. Reviews analytics and reports around support metrics to advise on how to continuously improve the function
+ Advocacy for fair and equitable treatment, commercial inclusion and challenge decisions or behaviours that do not align to the bank's policies
+ Experience in designing and executing talent strategies by envisioning future leadership needs, identifying strength within internal and external pipelines, and ensuring succession plans aligned with long-term business goals
+ The ability to help people work together cohesively and commit to achieving a common goal, maximizing their potential and productivity.Lead, develop and coach sizeable cross-cultural teams
+ Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with priority customer, client, community and stakeholder groups and using experience and situational judgement to respond to unique needs. Manages time and priorities effectively across a wide range of stakeholder groups to support the strategic priorities of the Bank
+ Leading and delivering sustainable change in an international context, continuous improvement and service excellence ability to define plans and budgets which identify value for revenue and opportunities for cost reduction. Draws accurate conclusions from financial information and makes insightful strategic financial decisions in planning and monitoring performance
