Senior TAB Technician
Job Description Perform comprehensive testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications. Conduct airflow and hydronic measurements using industry-standard equipment. Prepare detailed TAB reports and documentation in accordance with NEBB/AABC standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve system performance issues. Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on best practices and certification preparation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites. Participate in commissioning processes and support energy efficiency initiatives. Skills and Requirements NEBB and AABC certifications (must be current). Minimum of 6 years of hands-on TAB experience in commercial environments. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation. Proficiency in using TAB instruments and software. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and energy codes. Leadership experience or prior supervisory roles.
