Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented and experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and managing a pre-production environment for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) software applications and associated hardware. This role requires a strong background in systems administration, with a focus on deploying software systems in hybrid-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies, network administration, information assurance, and cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, building, and manage a pre-production environment for CBRND software applications and associated hardware.Integrating various software and hardware systems and ensure seamless operation in a hybrid-cloud environment.Implement and manage containerization and virtualization technologies to optimize system performance and scalability.Perform network administration tasks, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with information assurance and cybersecurity best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system integration processes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems integration, systems administration, or a related role.Strong background in hybrid-cloud environments, including experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.Solid understanding of network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.Knowledge of information assurance and cybersecurity best practices, including risk management frameworks and compliance standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)) are a plus.Strong Gitlab and GitOps experience (automation with tools like Ansible and Terraform)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
