Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in V&V to deliver high-quality services on rail projects throughout SEQ. You will provide authoritative guidance on best practices in V&V across all stages of the system lifecycle.
Location- Brisbane, QLD – Relocation package available from within Australia
Duration- Permanent, full-time
Salary- $160,000 + Super
Responsibilities Lead development and delivery of V&V plans and strategies Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures. Assist in tender production, work-winning / client engagement Manage traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. Execute validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. Prepare V&V reports and evidence packages. Mentor junior staff
Required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar 6+ years Systems Engineering experience Knowledge of relevant standards: EN 50126/8/9 IEC 61508 ISO 15288 Understanding of full Systems Engineering V-Lifecycle / INCOSE handbook standards Familiar with DOORS / DOORS NG An understanding of Safety Assurance, Human Factors and RAM is desirable Australian working rights – Australian Citizen, PR or Visa holder
