What You’ll Do
Assist with the oversight, management, and maintenance of our PC, mobile infrastructure and/or shipboard systems and servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction.
Research and PoC next generation technologies for long term planning and evolution of our infrastructure and endpoint strategies.
Participate in project efforts such as PC refresh, mobile device lease management, and new build imaging and deployments, including but not limited to budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
Design and suggest ways to expand automation and desired state configurations in the Infrastructure Ops space
Additional Tasks such as image, install, configure, and manage shipboard endpoints, package and distribute software applications, device collection, support new users and groups in active directory, and other duties as assigned
Provide on-site and remote technical support for applications and hardware on our ships and on-shore locations
Warehouse logistics including processing equipment repairs and shipping project hardware
Travel to remote ports to setup embarkation equipment and provide training and technical support (up to 10%)
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years relevant experience in IT, technical support, hardware management and/or computer systems engineering
Validated Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager administrator
Direct experience centrally managing Windows devices in a large enterprise environment leveraging MECM (SCCM)
3+ years of experience using scripting skills to automate tasks (PowerShell, YAML, Python, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS operating systems
Hands on experience with hardware installations such as PCs, cabling, peripherals. etc.
Self-starter with ability to take initiative and balance multiple priorities with minimal direction
Demonstrated strong communication and design skills, both verbal and written
Able to diagnose simple to complex system and process problems utilizing exceptional troubleshooting methodology
Must be able to travel between multiple Orlando locations and Port Canaveral with personal vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
Related industry certification/s (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS, etc.)
Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and/or other Ticketing tools
Familiarity with Confluence (or other documentation/wikis)
Demonstrated experience with AirWatch/WorkSpaceOne
Experience with JAMF, Ground Control, and/or Ansible/AWX
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study and/or equivalent work experience
