Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our intel team. 

Roll Descriptions:
Operations & System Administration for Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure, including but not limited to:Stakeholder collaboration, development & product teams to understand operational project requirements and feature specificationsImage TemplatingCreate and maintain CI/CD PipelinesPerform regular system scanning, patching to maintain Enterprise system security compliance and maintain updates in IC reporting toolsFacilitate deployment upgrades across Operational, Staging and Development environmentsMitigation of Operational Issues affecting end usersMaintain & update monitoring tools, service and health checksDetermine the Team's support coverage across applicable supported hours and prioritize monitoring tasksManage the POC support lists and OSOPsEstablish and maintain test environments that mimic operational configurations and end to end scenariosAssist with analysis of test coverage to determine gaps and improvementsAssist with automation of manual test cases and proceduresSystem regression, security, performance, customer focused and integration testingAssist with defect identification and reporting with reproducible stepsSchedule and communicate system outages with the team and external customers/partnersCollaborate and discuss outage plans with the Ops OfficersLead & collaborate with stakeholders for internal and external product documentation (i.e. User Agreements, Customer/Partner User Guides, SOPs, Admin Guide, etc.)Research and study trends with related technologies, tools, etc. and provide recommendations for streamlining processesProvide metrics and reporting on service requestsConduct performance benchmarkingMonitor customer support desk tickets, troubleshoot, resolve from simple to complexPerform customer on-boarding (provision new project resources)
Candidates should have the following qualifications: TS/SCI Clearance with polygraphTwenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is requiredBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Candidates are required to have the following skills:Skilled in Linux (RHEL) Administration including storage & interface management, hardening and patching.Skilled in Ansible or similar automation technologies for configuration management, maintenance and deployment of operating systems & applicationsVirtualization/VMware (AWS, AZURE or similar)Bash Scripting.Kubernetes (K8s)/ContainerizationSkilled in System Scanning, Patching & MonitoringFamiliar with GitLab or similarFamiliar with Jira or similarStrong communication skills, self-starter who can work independently or with team to debug & resolve issues.

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
