Our Raytheon Australia Under Water Systems team leads the Combat Systems integration for Australia’s entire fleet of Collins Class Submarines. We provide mission support and ensure operational capability to protect, secure and defend our nation.
To support our mission, Raytheon Australia is currently seeking a motivated engineer who is ready to join a diverse, talented, and enthusiastic team of technical professionals supporting the Combat System for the Collins Class Submarine Fleet.

Reporting directly to the Combat System Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the recommendations and governance of new products into the Collins Class Combat Systems, ensuring that there is a seamless transition into service. As a proactive and collaborative engineer, you will engage directly with key stakeholders as you work to introduce new technology to Australia's fleet.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Degree Qualified in relevant Engineering disciplines with eligibility to hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) standing and a level of Design Authority delegation to support system Design Certification activities.Ideally 8 years’ experience in Systems Engineering involving one or more of the following: requirements definition, requirements management, analysis, design, integration and verification.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.Knowledge of project management milestones coupled with the ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision to deliver completed work according to scheduled commitments.Available to undertake travel where necessary to meet requirements of the role.Successful candidates must be able to obtain / maintain a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance.
