Senior Systems Engineer, Enterprise Applications
**DESCRIPTION** **Senior Systems Engineer** is responsible for overall installation, operation, backup, and recovery of all Microsoft Windows based servers and server applications. Responsible for Application Support as it relates to the Operating System. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provide primary support and enhancements to the enterprise corporate applications. + Ability to lead large and/or complex programs/portfolios with high and sometimes critical impact and cross-portfolio scope, complexity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, both business and IT + Ability to set future vision and roadmaps for the portfolio and contributes to enterprise roadmaps + Participate and contribute in portfolio architectural review boards to establish architecture roadmaps for the portfolio, design principals and best practices + Expert and point of contact responsible in cross-portfolio end to end business, technology, software quality, innovation, domain and architecture areas + Works independently and is well respected with high influence across the cross-portfolio and business areas + Design solutions & architecture per best practices leveraging approved technologies and provides recommendations for improvement + Evaluate and recommend potential new technical solutions & technologies. + Develop and enforce software development/quality best practices, including coding standards, frameworks, strategy, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations + Heavy collaboration with Cross-functional teams within IT and business partners + Coaches, mentors, and develop senior members in the family on design techniques and coding standards to increase productivity and cultivate innovation **QUALIFICATIONS** **Minimum Education and Work Experience** + **Bachelor’s degree** in Information Technology (preferred); High School Diploma required. + **Ten (10)** or more years of experience in IT, IT service management, or business process management. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered. + Proven experience in **Finance** and **HR** domains, particularly with **ERP** systems such as **UKG** , including development, deployment, and operationalization. + Strong background in IT program and project management. + Experience managing vendor relationships in hosted environments. + In-depth knowledge of key technologies, development methodologies, and service management practices relevant to Acosta’s portfolio and applications. **Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:** + Expertise in **enterprise-level** IT **system integration** and **information architecture** . + Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers and **application support** teams. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead **cross-functional teams** and influence stakeholders. + Demonstrated success in building sustainable relationships with business partners and vendors. + Skilled in navigating technical, business, and cultural dynamics across teams. + Results-driven with a proactive, outcome-focused mindset. + Experience with **UKG Payroll** **and Time & Attendance** systems **(preferred** ). + Commitment to a collaborative, team-oriented environment; supports team development and role transitions. + Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive positive change across processes and services. + Strong business acumen with a clear understanding of contractual obligations and deliverables. + Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, issue resolution, and customer relationship management. **Physical Requirements** This job requires the ability to see, listen effectively, life and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
