Senior Systems Analyst
**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Systems Analyst** to join our team in **Stafford, VA** . **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Ensures IT systems are designed, implemented, and maintained effectively to support organizational and user needs, acting as a bridge between requirements and technical solutions. + Works with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and creates comprehensive technical documentation including flow diagrams, system models, and user guides. + Evaluates proposed solutions for technical and financial viability, and coordinates with Developers, Network Engineers, and other IT professionals to implement and smoothly integrate systems. + Evaluates Test Plans to ensure systems meet requirements, assists with training users and IT staff on new systems, supports troubleshooting, and analyzes/improves processes for efficiency and productivity. + Ensures systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, stays updated with technology trends, recommends new beneficial technologies, and provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff. **Minimum Qualifications:** + BA/BS in field necessary to assume Systems Analyst duties or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. + 9 years of experience with 5+ years of Systems Analyst specific experience. + Experience in systems analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of analyzing, designing, and implementing IT systems. + Deep understanding of systems analysis methodologies and best practices. Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. + Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) models. + Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including flow diagrams, system models, and specifications. + Understanding of network infrastructure, databases, and software applications. **Desired Qualifications:** + Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. + Experience supporting DoD programs and with cloud-based technologies. + Experience with specific systems analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN). + Knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks and best practices. + Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and platforms. + Experience with agile-informed development methodologies. + DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification. Relevant certifications in systems analysis or ITIL (e.g., Certified Systems Analyst (CSA), ITIL Foundation certificate). + Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current/active Secret clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
