U-Haul is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join the IT Site Reliability team supporting virtual servers, IIS web servers, network storage, active directory, and more.
This is a remote position for those outside of Arizona (you must reside in the U.S.). If you reside in the Phoenix, AZ area, this will be a hybrid position.
Duties:
Provide coverage every Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM MST and participate in an on-call rotation (usually once every two months) to support after hours operation
Quickly and effectively troubleshoot IIS/.NET application issues alongside developers
Support virtual environments using VMware vCenter
Monitor critical infrastructure and applications using monitoring solutions like SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and ExtraHop
Perform administrative tasks on Windows and Linux servers, including patching, reviewing logs, and software installation/configuration
Provide Active Directory support for users and computers along with managing permissions and groups
Provide support for large network shares and permissions
Monitor and respond to incoming issues via Teams and email
Build and troubleshoot code releases done via Azure DevOps

Experience with databases (SQL, primarily)

Experience working with CI/CD deployments (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab, Travis, etc)
Requirements:
2+ years' experience scripting (bash, PowerShell, Python)
5+ years' experience working with Windows Server 2012+
2+ years' experience working with Linux distros like Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS
2+ years' experience working hosting sites and services with IIS 8.5+ or similar .NET hosting services
2+ years' experience working in a virtualized environment, like vCenter/ESXi or Hyper-V
