How you will make an impact:
The Senior Systems Administrator is a professional who is part of a larger team with a specific focus on End User Device (EUD) configurations and builds to support real-time operational activities. You will be responsible for designing, building, imaging, hardening, updating, and supporting mobile platforms such as Android and iOS, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems. Within the ARMA-Global Fort Walton Beach portfolio, this position supports assigned projects and programs, enabling high priority Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions. You will work with a team of integrated professionals and walk amongst our nation’s heroes all dedicated to operational success and achieving National objectives. Familiarity with the government client's mission is a must as this position supports the delivery of new capabilities on a routine basis
In this position the Senior Systems Administrator will be exposed to unique systems, technologies, and experiences found nowhere else. The successful candidate will:
Provision and configure mobile EUDs as part of the device build lifecycle, applying and validating profiles and settings managed through Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems.
Configure and maintain RHEL device builds, including DISA STIG compliance and patching.
Image and deploy EUD builds onto hardware for field and operational use.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network device issues, and coordinate with vendors and factory support as needed.
Provide Tier II support and troubleshooting for Android and RHEL devices.
Collaborate with MDM, network, and server teams to integrate end user devices into broader infrastructure workflows.
Track hardware inventory, software versions, and build artifacts.
Create and maintain technical documentation, user-facing guides, and SOPs for device provisioning, setup, and support.
Use scripting to automate recurring tasks.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Information Technology discipline, or equivalent technical training, certifications and experience
DoD 8140 Information Assurance certification required (Minimum CompTIA Sec+CE)
Required Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience directly related to the technical requirements of this position
Technical Skills:
Technical competence with the following is required
Operating Systems: Android, iOS, Windows and RHEL
Processes: Imaging, Patching, DISA STIGs
Scripting: PowerShell, Batch, Bash
Technical competence with the following is preferred/highly desired
Networking: Familiarity of Routing and Switching
Virtualization: Hypervisors (VMware vSphere), Containers (Docker)
Software & Tools: Unified End Point Management Technologies, C2 Mission Apps
Risk Management Framework: Familiar with DoD Information Assurance processes
Configuration Management: Understanding of CM and DoDAF processes relating to IT systems
Security Clearance Level:
Must have active SECRET Clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility
Required Skills and Abilities:
Outstanding written and oral communications skills to effectively communicate root cause and resolution to senior leadership
Strong Problem solving skills
The ability to work independently as well as in teaming environments.

DoD, Combatant Command (COCOM), Special Operations (SOF), and Air Force experience a plus
