The Senior Engineer or Scientist plays a supporting role through both individual and team assignments. In many cases they must apply technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes. They should be able to work with and within cross-functional and cross-discipline teams. They are able to apply system engineering methodologies such as requirements definition, system architecture and integration, analyses, configuration management, and risk management in the design phase of products. At this level, they may also be recognized as an SME in their area of expertise or discipline and support others with both business and technical mentoring/coaching.This level may also require engagement with customers during the product definition and requirements gathering process for bids and proposals. At this seniority level some individuals may be Team Leaders which deliver technically and commercially sound products or services, with guidance, through deploying effective teams from project inception to delivery by setting and meeting project goals and objectives.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Supporting the design and development of various oil & gas systems, using modern engineering tools.Working with allocated project team to deliver the required systems engineering scope, as a technical lead and interface with both internal and external stakeholders.Creating initial feasibility analysis, conceptual designs, concepts of operations etc.Taking ownership of Systems Engineering design, FMEA, HAZOP, Technical Qualification and other relevant Engineering processes/analysis.Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to source components and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to gas processing technology, environmental compliance, and energy recovery systems to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability and emissions management.Being the main technical interface for Customers for new product and relevant new technology.Providing timely communications to Executive Management on technical, program, organizational and resource matters.Ensuring and inspiring compliance to IP protection and HSE culture.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Master's Degree or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/Energy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College.Have proven experience in leading engineering projects or programs, with focus on innovative product development that involves multi-disciplinary aspects and interaction tasks.Have proven competencies in rotating equipment design, with the ability to apply knowledge to new technology and new product development.Have demonstrated experience in developing systems requirements, architecture design, system level verification and validation, preferably within gas processing industry/market. INCOSE certification would be positively valued.Have demonstrated experience in designing new tech systems that meets all customer/market requirements including product cost, performance, manufacturing methods, standardization, and other operational aspects as well.   Be open to innovative ideas, ability to drive change and passionate to new technologies.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Have very good collaboration skills and ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.Show problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.Have clear thinking attitude with entrepreneur's mindset.Have good verbal and written skills, be fluent both in English and Polish.
