**About the Role**
We are seeking a Sr. System Development Engineer to support our Event Engineering team. This team is responsible for ensuring the video quality and stability of large and/or strategically important streaming events. You will be part of a team of Event Engineers that supports events by assisting in event planning, providing an onsite presence during events, serving as a technical point of contact for third parties, engaging in high touch onboarding, troubleshooting video problems and supporting feature development activities such as Enhanced Broadcasting.
**You Will:**
+ Provide pre-production consulting, capacity planning, preflight testing and active monitoring for events from both remote and onsite contexts
+ Act as a technical point of contact for third-parties
+ Engage in high-touch onboarding for Twitch partners, VIPs and other strategic individuals
+ Troubleshoot video problems for other Twitch teams
+ Assist product teams with video-related Twitch feature development
**You Have:**
+ 5+ years of experience designing live production setups
+ Proven ability to deliver under pressure in a live environment. Preferably TV or streaming video.
+ Ability to collaborate with Network, Ops, Systems and Software Engineers on improving event execution, application performance and system requirements
+ Strong organization, communication and collaboration skills
**Bonus Points**
+ Experience with AWS’ Interactive Video Service (IVS)
+ A passion for eSports and gaming events
+ Experience in event management (even better if you have eSports experience)
+ Software development experience in any language
