Senior Surveyor - Data Centres & Life Sciences Value & Risk Advisory

This is a Senior Surveyor/Associate role which will involve providing valuations for loan security, financial reporting, strategic review, acquisition and dispute purposes to a range of clients including corporate occupiers, banks, specialist property funds and operators. You will be valuing specialist assets including data centres, life sciences, film studios, arenas, stadia, infrastucture and development land. Part of the role will be to maintain and extend existing important client relationships whilst helping to deliver further growth through new mandates.

Working specifically within the Operational Real Estate Value and Risk Advisory, you will be part of the Specialist Team based in London and covering EMEA. The team undertakes the following: -

Specialises in providing valuation advice on a large variety of property assets principally involving corporate occupier and specialist properties and developments;Works with corporate owners, operators, major banks and specialist investors among a broad spectrum of national and international clients;Provides specialist advice to clients based on thorough sector knowledge through wider collaboration with JLL market leading capital markets, corporate finance, agency, research and management teams. Value specialist sectors covering essentially data centres, life sciences, sports stadia, film studios, infrastructure and complex development projects.

Key Responsibilities

To provide valuations and related advice on a wide range of property types and to a variety of clients many of whom are core clients of the firm;To provide valuation advice in expanding real estate and infrastructure sectors.To work with operators, corporate occupiers, major banks and investors among a broad spectrum of local, national and international clients.To provide specialist advice to clients based on sector knowledge through wider collaboration with market leading capital markets, agency, research and management teams.Develop and manage client relationships, including growing new areas of business;Assist the team in achieving target and growing the business line;

Requirements

MRICS/Registered Valuer with post-qualification experience;Broad experience ideal, although this is not essential and interest in variety of work is key;Knowledge of Excel, Argus Enterprise and Argus Developer valuation packages;DCF modelling experience ideal but not essential;Ability to work under tight time constraints in order to deliver high quality service;Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent client skills;Must be willing to work as a team player;Able to take on challenging valuationsStrong verbal and numerical skills, an eye for detail and to be comfortable with detailed report writing and excel.
