This position works at Istanbul location in the Established Pharmaceuticals Division that we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Maintain/utilize Bill of Material information in various systems for production planning and run the MRP by also considering additional materials requirements for the specific projects (ASQ, equipment changes, export production, localization etc.)
+ Manage, execute purchase orders of excipients and packaging materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for the third-party manufacturing plants so that an uninterrupted supply of materials is readily available for the manufacturing process.
+ Ensure through proper inventory management, that all packaging and excipients are available to avoid supply interruptions. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet demand and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
+ Responsible for setting, preparing and achieving annual/quarterly inventory budget (for excipients and packaging materials for commercial, validation, trial, engineering productions) setting safety stock levels, managing inventory tracking processes and reconciliation (plan vs. actual), and identifying/implementing inventory adjustment opportunities which has impact at DOH & cashflow levels.
+ Ensure a process and relationship with suppliers and third-party manufacturers where they proactively and urgently report any production or shipping/carrier issues well in advance of delivery to preempt any threat of material/excipient shortages.
+ Place/adjust purchase orders of excipients/packaging materials including valid artwork no. based on updated supply plan to ensure production is never negatively impacted. Maintain close relationship with Import department to pro-actively manage any issues related to material deliveries.
+ Work closely with Procurement, Quality, MS&T, TPM operations, Finance, Demand Planning, other supply colleagues.
+ Support and attend routine project, alternative equipment and NPI meetings and within the affiliate to follow up the project actions and fulfill the requirements of projects.
+ Maintain adequate planning parameters & master data such as as transit time, standard costs, supply lead time, safety stock, minimum manufacturing quantity, minimum order quantity are updated correctly in systems such as SAP / MRP / excel spreadsheets.
+ Monitor, report and drive mitigation actions on slow moving & obsolete products/raw materials , track them at risk of destruction due to near expiry and to reduce the risk of scrap cost that may arise due to mismanagement of inventory for any reason.
+ Calculate and track KPI’s such as OTIF , inventory turnover, prepare regular performance reports and take necessary actions for improvement.
**Required Qualifications**
+ University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines
+ Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
+ 2-5 years’ experience preferably in the pharmaceuticals or fast-moving consumer goods industries
+ Related experience in areas such as third-party manufacturing planning, inventory management, supply/operations planning or production scheduling
+ Must have proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Strong computer skills, especially using Excel with ability to create spreadsheets and perform advanced formulas and functions
+ Pro-active & self-learner
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Team player - involves working with different departments collaboratively.
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
+ Proficiency in SAP.
