Senior Supply Chain Manager for Component Manufacturing,

Then you might be our new colleague.** As our Supply Chain Manager, you will work both strategically and operationally: You will be leading your team and set the agenda for our high-tech manufacturing site, while collaborating with our global supply chain community to develop global initiatives. **The team you will be part of:** At our high-tech production facility in Præstø on the east coast of Zealand in Denmark, you will become part of an organization of about 100 colleagues within production, operations, supply chain, and administration. We are part of GN Store Nord, which has its global headquarters in Ballerup. You will report to VP, Component Manufacturing, Morten Andersen, who is physically located in Præstø. You will also be part of the local management team and make sure we can continue to transform lives through the power of sound. At GN Hearing, we create advanced hearing aid solutions to improve the lives of people with hearing challenges. It all begins at Component Manufacturing in Præstø, where we produce essential components that contribute to the quality of our hearing aids. Therefore, our ability to deliver is vital. **Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:** As the Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for leading and managing 6 people – incl. one people manager – in direct reporting line and approximately 82 team members. You will also ensure alignment between our local Præstø factory, Global Supply Chain, Global Purchasing and our assembly factories in China and Malaysia. **More specifically, you will** + Develop and validate forecast analyses and follow up on capacity planning by tracking local production in coordination with the assembly factories and Global Supply Chain. + Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. + Manage daily planning, inventory management and purchasing activities at the factory. + Develop and motivate your team to optimize employee satisfaction and performance. + Report and evaluate on previous forecasting results to improve accuracy. + Participate in Global Supply Chain meetings, workshops and projects, e.g. to implement a new ERP system, develop business continuity plans and improve forecasting processes. + Manage day-to-day supplier contact, incl. VMI and replenishment suppliers, in close collaboration with Global Purchasing. **We seek continuous improvement** Together with an inspired and self-sustaining team, you will contribute to significant progress. Because that is how we continue to transform for the better. **To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:** + A higher educational background at bachelor level or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related fields of studies. + Five years of relevant work experience within Supply Chain Management, especially with forecasting and planning, and you know how to translate large data sets into meaningful actions. + Some years of experience, as a People Manager and know what it means to help people succeed. + Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle). + Proficient in identifying problems and developing effective solutions. + The ability in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. + Communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to manage stakeholders and deliver clear, compelling messages. + Demonstrated initiative and flexibility, with a result-oriented mindset and structured work habits. + Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools. + The ability to meet the travel requirements of approximately 10-15 days per year to our assembly factories in China and Malaysia, which can be coordinated in advance. As Manager, your primary focus should be on cultivating leadership abilities and stakeholder relationships to support your team's efforts. This position necessitates a forward-thinking attitude, organized and effective work practices, and a strategic perspective for handling intricate situations.
