Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations in San Sebastian, Spain. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, encompassing planning, purchasing, manufacturing, order management, materials management, and transportation logistics.

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and systems, coupled with the ability to implement best practices for an efficient and cost-effective operation. As a leader, you will champion a culture of safety, quality, delivery, and cost excellence within your team.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Lead and Manage: Oversee the planning, purchasing, manufacturing, receiving, and shipping functions, ensuring seamless operations. Communication & Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team, across local and global teams, and with our stakeholders. Strategic Execution: Combine your technical expertise and managerial skills to achieve business objectives efficiently and effectively, utilizing available resources optimally. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate policies, government regulations, and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, constantly raising the bar on our capabilities and performance. Talent Development: Accurately assess team member skills, identify gaps, and implement development plans to enhance team capabilities. What We're Looking For

 

Experienced Supply Chain Professional and Leader: Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent experience. Proven Experience: Atleast 5 years of supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics or automotive industry experience preferred). Leadership Skills: Demonstrated management or supervisory experience leading direct reports and working effectively in a cross-functional environment. Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operations and best practices. Global Mindset: Ability to thrive in a global environment with proven leadership, interpersonal communication, strong facilitation, and analytical skills. Systems Expertise: Experience with SAP and global manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish (listening, writing, and speaking) is essential, Basque language is an advantage.
