Senior Supply Chain Manager, Rapid & Rural Logistics
Description Join Amazon's dynamic and growing Rapid & Rural Logistics Supply Chain team as a Senior Supply Chain Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations. We are seeking a skilled professional to lead strategic initiatives and drive process improvements to grow and optimize the supply chain network. As a strategic supply chain manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of initiatives and processes that deliver insights to influence and grow our operations. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable mechanisms, and drive automation to enhance efficiency as our business continues to grow. Key job responsibilities • Lead strategic initiatives related to the driving performance improvement and optimization within the R2L supply chain. • Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. • Define metrics, develop mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex supply chain situations. • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network. • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared supply chain and customer goals. • Own a portfolio of cross-functional supply chain initiatives, driving network performance improvement and efficiency. • Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in the R2L supply chain, focusing on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of supply chain experience - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - 5+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
