Crestron is seeking a highly qualified Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Sr SQE) to join our Corporate Quality organization. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of finished goods from our electronic and electromechanical suppliers.

As a Sr SQE, you will provide oversight of supplier performance, lead quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. This is a corporate-level position with broad influence across multiple departments and supplier networks.

This position is 100% onsite in Orangeburg NY or in Plano Texas

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with on-site QA teams at assigned manufacturers. Monitor and report supplier quality performance; establish and track improvement targets. Conduct periodic audits of supplier quality systems and manufacturing processes. Review first article inspections and open-box reports; issue approvals and drive corrective actions. Collaborate with the data analytics team to identify products requiring further investigation or failure analysis. Support field issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Request inventory checks and containment actions when product quality is in question. Participate in the Material Review Board to address and resolve discrepant materials. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in complex manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, including 8D and root cause analysis. Proven ability to manage projects and track multiple critical issues simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes for electromechanical devices, including: SMT and PCB assembly; PCB test; Final assembly and test.
