Senior Supplier Performance Engineer
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Maintaining the Supplier OTD and LBL, meeting KPIs + Driving supplier capability enhancement through the implementation of Lean tools and concepts + Leading process optimization projects to improve efficiency and reduce variability + Partnering with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives that secure long-term value for the organization + Monitoring the delivery performance of the assigned suppliers and ensure 95% OTD of the supplies to Global sites + Conducting Weekly OOR meeting with all suppliers, Analyze and derive an action plan for eliminating the root cause of any delay which affects the delivery performance + Late backlog orders must not exceed 5% of the total open purchase orders + Initiating steps for improving the Lead Time of the supplier(s); + Understanding the processing sequence at supplier's end and suggesting ways to improve the process; + Working closely to improve the Lead Time meeting market expectations + Implementing Lean Projects for process improvement and Lead Time + Supporting all Fisher site purchasing teams with weekly review conference calls involving key suppliers + Conducting Supplier Business Reviews including Supplier team & other Key Stake holders from all WA + Maintaining & implementing Forecast Consolidation, Stocking overview, NVA elimination for all assigned Suppliers + Assessing Supplier capability & Capacity required to meet FCV Global demand, Initiating joint actions along with the team to enhance the Performance + Maintaining RCCP (Rough Cut capacity Plan) for all suppliers on monthly / weekly basis & alert the site if there is a spike beyond allocation in demand + Developing and benchmarking best practices among suppliers + Ensuring Relationship development and management with Key Supplier Emerson Account Managers + Aligning & monitoring the Supplier loading pattern from various sites for specific Project / Product as per the derived strategy + Weekly updates on NPD projects under execution + Establish and monitor supplier KPIs through structured performance management processes. + Lead continuous improvement initiatives in supplier manufacturing processes, stocking and capacity planning. + Champion and embed a Lean culture across key suppliers by leading change initiatives and facilitating Lean events. **Who You Are:** + You keep in touch with customers, build the customer relationships, understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships, balance planning with actions, research initiatives and try innovative ways, You stay aligned with your goals and stay productive, focus on priorities and set stretch goals, apply systems and technology to stay on track, convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field). + 8+ years of experience in supplier performance management, supplier development + Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement Tools + Proven track record of managing supplier performance against KPIs (Delivery, cost, compliance). + Experience in supplier capacity audits, and root cause analysis for delivery performance failures + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with data-driven decision-making skills. + Willingness to travel domestically (frequently) and internationally (as required). + Good communication & Interpersonal Skills + Exposure to foundry processes, machining & forging processes **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. + Experience working in a global manufacturing environment with cross-cultural teams. + Familiarity with advanced supplier development tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA). + Knowledge on Non-Destructive Examination & Secondary Processes like Coating, Nitriding , etc., + Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). + Exposure to digital supply chain tools, analytics, and Industry 4.0 concepts. + Ability to lead workshops and training sessions for suppliers on Lean and process optimization **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** + At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
