Senior Supervisor

 

 

The Senior Supervisor will have oversight of the entire Consumer Products business including Inbound, Outbound and Returns for multiple clients.  Your work will align with our commitment to exceeding customer expectations.  This role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of items from suppliers or production shops. You will manage labor resources effectively while prioritizing orders with precision. The Senior Supervisor will have a team of Department Supervisors.

 

YOUR TASKS

Partner with Operations leadership to hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the business unit Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor Coordinate staffing amongst multiple departments and ensure performance management of all employees (KPIs) and business review. Communicate with client services team and senior leadership team to ensure account SLA’s are met Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed New customer integration and migration testing Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements

 

YOUR PROFILE

3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience 3-5 years’ experience in inventory control, logistics, and accountability 5 years’ experience of SAP, Kronos and Microsoft Office applications High School Diploma or Equivalent, college degree preferred Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks
