Senior Supervisor, NVS Footwear Assortment Planning GC

Overview of the Job: This role will lead a team responsible for the assortment strategy that supports NVS business. Optimize consumer demand & supply to serve consumer, drive profitable growth and take prompt action on inventory liquidation.
Job Responsibility:
Pre-season:
+ Build strategic framework of seasonal product investment plan
+ Lead NVS buy strategy by reconciling topline financials, consumer moments, closeout inventory status with bottom-up investment
+ Align plan with input and collaboration from key stakeholders including Merchandising and Business Team
+ Partner with Supply Planning team to secure capacity & plan inventory flow
In-season:
+ Weekly analyze and recap marketplace performance
+ Recommend key actions to cross function partners to optimize business
+ Take action on pricing to drive sell-through & liquidation
Post-season:
+ Analyze seasonal topline financials and product performance including sell-through, color performance, and SKU productivity
+ Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning
+ Recap performance of key retail moments to provide insights for future planning
Responsive strategy:
+ Integrate seasonal responsiveness & planning agility strategy (short lead time, flow, supply agility)
Team Management:
+ Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):
+ Buying, Planning, Assortment Planning experience with apparel in ND retail preferred
+ Comprehensive understanding of retail math
+ Experience in developing an understanding of consumers, competitors, and retail trends
+ Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
+ Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel
+ Product Knowledge
+ Fluent in Chinese & English
+ Bachelor degree or above
