Overview of the Job: This role will lead a team responsible for the assortment strategy that supports NVS business. Optimize consumer demand & supply to serve consumer, drive profitable growth and take prompt action on inventory liquidation.

Job Responsibility:

Pre-season:

Build strategic framework of seasonal product investment planLead NVS buy strategy by reconciling topline financials, consumer moments, closeout inventory status with bottom-up investmentAlign plan with input and collaboration from key stakeholders including Merchandising and Business TeamPartner with Supply Planning team to secure capacity & plan inventory flow

In-season:

Weekly analyze and recap marketplace performance Recommend key actions to cross function partners to optimize businessTake action on pricing to drive sell-through & liquidation

Post-season:

Analyze seasonal topline financials and product performance including sell-through, color performance, and SKU productivityProvide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planningRecap performance of key retail moments to provide insights for future planning

Responsive strategy:

Integrate seasonal responsiveness & planning agility strategy (short lead time, flow, supply agility)

Team Management:

Manage and mentor team members, fostering  a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):

Buying, Planning, Assortment Planning experience with apparel in ND retail preferredComprehensive understanding of retail mathExperience in developing an understanding of consumers, competitors, and retail trendsAbility to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the businessAdvanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in ExcelProduct KnowledgeFluent in Chinese & EnglishBachelor degree or above
