Purpose of the job
To assess and monitor network performance through regular voice and data benchmarking campaigns, ensuring superior customer experience and identifying areas of network quality improvement. The role involves analyzing service quality metrics, generating detailed performance reports, and supporting the proactive resolution of network issues affecting service quality.
Duties and responsibilities
Analyze data/voice benchmarking campaigns conducted to assess Orange Egypt's network performance. Prepare detailed reports (voice quality analysis, dropped calls, blocked calls, throughput analysis, etc.) for each measurement conducted. Launch new initiatives and projects that focus on enhancing the network QoS. Set up and calibrate internal tools measurements to guarantee measurement quality and efficiency. Actively facilitate a challenging environment that encourages decision making, personal ownership, teamwork, and accountability at all levels. Generate, prepare, and submit sufficient quality reports including all the required analysis in each field that will provide clear visibility of the network performance for top management. Maintain network quality performance through all available tools like counters, field measurements, and captures. Monitor, analyze, and report access network performance through KPIs and follow up chronic problems until they are solved with the concerned teams. Act as a first-line support for the teams' technicians for any field problems arising during drive test measurements. Proactively assess issues and network bottlenecks that could affect future performance. Manage and encourage the development and creation of in-house developed tools to minimize the time and efforts for analyzing network quality problems as well as the investment costs. Deepen diversified functional knowledge that connects different fields and disciplines through a solid understanding of the radio and access network side and linking them with other fields such as the core, BSS, and optimization. Bachelor degree in Engineering Communications Department.
Experience
6 years of professional experience in telecommunications field.
Skills and abilities:
Experience in 2G/3G/4G drive test analysis. Proficiency in analyzing KPIs and parameter optimization. Excellent English language reading and writing. Excellent communication skills.
