Purpose of the job
Planning and development of data network security. Develop and evolve highly available, effective, and efficient technology infrastructure security products and services. Capacity planning for data network security components.

Duties and responsibilities

Planning and development of data network security. Develop and evolve highly available, effective, and efficient technology infrastructure security products and services. Capacity planning for data network security components. Remain at the cutting edge of security issues surrounding network, systems, and data security as well as striking the right balance between the need to protect data and systems and the need to run the business with a high level of satisfaction. Design validation for all data network projects. Design and implement new VPNs. Design and implement new remote access solutions. Take the lead in the evaluation of new data network security services and techniques, and coordinate requests for proposal (RFP) as required. Provide advice on data network security issues, products, technology opportunities, and concepts. Develop communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skills required to interface with different departments like VAS, BSS, Core NSS, PaCo, and Charging; attend regular workshops with customers and vendors. Lead data network security projects.

Job specification

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer, communications, or electronics from a reputable university. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience. JNCIP SEC or CCNP is a must; CCIE SEC or JNCIE is a plus. Hands-on experience in routing, IPsec, VPN, IPS, IP SLA, DHCP, logging, SNMP, RADIUS, VLAN (802.1q), IPv6. Experience in network and security products of multiple vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto. Comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, network hardware configuration such as Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. Hands-on experience in security protocols and solutions. Strong understanding and practical experience with technologies like NAC, ACE, and ISE. Practical experience in applying security best practices. Very good English skills, both spoken and written, and computer skills. Presentation skills. Excellent project management skills. Ability to work under pressure.
