Elevate Your Career as a Senior Structural Engineer – Structural Topsides

Join a multidisciplinary engineering team at the forefront of offshore innovation. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and analyzing topside structures for cutting-edge floating production units (FPSOs). Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of global offshore energy projects, from concept to execution.

Role Overview

Deliver robust structural designs for offshore topsides such as modules, helidecks, flare towers, and hull integrations.

Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure safe and efficient designs.

Provide 3D modeling, construction drawings, and MTOs for offshore structures.

Develop tools, standards, and procedures to improve structural engineering quality and efficiency.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects (clients, procurement, construction, classification societies, subcontractors).

Act as Engineer Lead when required, leading a team of engineers for project engineering scopes and construction support.

Be available for long-term international assignments (approx. 1 year) in Bangalore (India) or Singapore/China for EPC project support.

Provide support during design, fabrication, and integration phases of offshore projects.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in structural analysis of offshore topsides in conceptual, basic, and detailed design phases.

Strong understanding of engineering interfaces with piping, topside integrations, and equipment layout.

Experience with classification society rules and structural design software such as GeniE.

Effective communicator with the ability to lead, guide, and support junior engineers.

Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and sound engineering judgment.

Education & Experience

Degree: MSc or BSc in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Naval, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent professional certification).

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore structural engineering, preferably within topsides design for FPSOs.

Solid background in both design and construction phases of offshore facilities.

Fluency in English (verbal and written).
