E2M has a wealth of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of electric motion and control loading systems for a wide variety of applications such as vehicle simulation (aircraft, cars, trains, etc.), entertainment rides, research and development applications and more. To strengthen our structural engineering expertise, we are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and grow our structural analysis capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As Senior Structural Engineer, you will own the structural analysis process from concept through certification. You will be a trusted expert supporting product development, R&D, and customer projects. Working closely with our design team, you will ensure our motion system components meet the highest standards of structural integrity, performance, and quality.
 

Key Responsibilities

Lead the structural analysis process from CAD concept to final reportPerform static linear, modal, and motion-related analysesRun simulations in Siemens Simcenter/NX and evaluate resultsEvaluate loads and structural integrity per international standards (NEN, ISO, etc.)Support the design team during presales and project phasesGuarantee strength and lifetime of components such as bearings and ballscrewsGuide and interpret physical testing resultsWrite and approve reports, and certification documentationDrive R&D programs for new technologies and methodsDevelop and improve structural analysis techniquesMentor, coach, and train team members in structural engineeringCollaborate with customers to ensure optimal design outcomes

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering5–8 years of experience in structural FEA (CAD experience a plus)Proficiency in Siemens Simcenter/NX and Microsoft Office (Matlab is a plus)Strong knowledge of mechanisms and motion dynamics for mechatronic systemsSkilled in static linear structural and modal analysis (pre/post-processing)Familiarity with international design standards (NEN, ISO, etc.)Fluent in English with excellent communication & technical writing skills (Dutch is a plus)Accurate, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindsetFlexible, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressureTeam player with a collaborative mentality and problem-solving driveEnjoy working in a small-team, entrepreneurial environment
