To strengthen our structural engineering expertise, we are seeking a **Senior Structural Engineer** to lead and grow our structural analysis capabilities. **What You’ll Be Doing:** As Senior Structural Engineer, you will own the structural analysis process from concept through certification. You will be a trusted expert supporting product development, R&D, and customer projects. Working closely with our design team, you will ensure our motion system components meet the highest standards of structural integrity, performance, and quality. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead the structural analysis process from CAD concept to final report + Perform static linear, modal, and motion-related analyses + Run simulations in Siemens Simcenter/NX and evaluate results + Evaluate loads and structural integrity per international standards (NEN, ISO, etc.) + Support the design team during presales and project phases + Guarantee strength and lifetime of components such as bearings and ballscrews + Guide and interpret physical testing results + Write and approve reports, and certification documentation + Drive R&D programs for new technologies and methods + Develop and improve structural analysis techniques + Mentor, coach, and train team members in structural engineering + Collaborate with customers to ensure optimal design outcomes **What You Bring** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering + 5–8 years of experience in structural FEA (CAD experience a plus) + Proficiency in Siemens Simcenter/NX and Microsoft Office (Matlab is a plus) + Strong knowledge of mechanisms and motion dynamics for mechatronic systems + Skilled in static linear structural and modal analysis (pre/post-processing) + Familiarity with international design standards (NEN, ISO, etc.) + Fluent in English with excellent communication & technical writing skills (Dutch is a plus) + Accurate, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset + Flexible, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure + Team player with a collaborative mentality and problem-solving drive + Enjoy working in a small-team, entrepreneurial environment **Why Join Us?** + Freedom to take ownership, innovate, and lead improvements + Modern working environment with a collaborative team culture and short communication lines + Opportunities for growth in responsibilities + Access to courses and personal development opportunities + Competitive salary and benefits + An international working environment + The chance to work with cutting-edge high-tech products + Have the freedom to explore additional responsibilities outside your job description
