Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer (Data Center) for in-house structural design of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, data centers, bridges and viaducts; earth retaining structures, underground structures; culverts and building structures, to join our busy and expanding experienced team.
Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for technically leading aspects of projects, supporting Project Managers and technical teams to deliver within scope, budget, timeframe, and high-quality standards.Have a working knowledge of Revit, Tekla Structural Designer / Etabs / SAP2000 / Robot, and other associated design programs.Have a working knowledge of running a structural engineering team in a multi-disciplinary team environment where all project drawings are generated using BIM tools (Autodesk Revit).Interface with clients on schedules, meetings, and issues (manage client expectations and perceptions).Support digital transformation strategy and implementation and embrace change within the discipline.Undertake technical reviews / audits to ensure that designs are in accordance with project / study requirements and company objectives and are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activitiesSpecific Skills Required
Ability to develop key and trusted client relationships.Superior interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfactionStrong analytical, literacy and numerical skillsAbility to function with minimal supervisionExperience with American and/or European design codes preferableQualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering (Structural), preferably M.Eng or MSc.Eng.At least 8 years’ professional experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on data center.Prior experience in data center design consultancy or involvement in large-scale data center projects is highly desirableAdditional InformationAt AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity
