Project Overview:
This role supports an ongoing FPSO Life Extension project, specifically within the Topside Structure scope. The project team is globally distributed, and the assignment is fully remote. The selected candidate will work closely with international colleagues across time zones and contribute to the planning and assessment phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities: Lead topside and hull structural condition assessments for an FPSO unit. Develop baseline inspection plans and perform structural strength and fatigue analyses. Prepare Stage II assessment plans in compliance with ABS, DNV, and BV standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, international team via virtual platforms (Teams, SharePoint). Participate in regular project meetings across global time zones. Interface with client-provided facility data and virtual desktop environments. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. 10+ years of offshore/FPSO structural engineering experience. Proven track record in structural analysis and reporting for similar scopes. Familiarity with classification society standards (ABS, DNV, BV). Proven experience working within EPC service companies. Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Background in Naval Architecture, particularly in: Global hull–topside interaction Model benchmarking Life-extension justification Flexibility to support meetings across multiple time zones. Experience with virtual desktop environments and remote collaboration tools.
