This is a unique opportunity for someone who not only excels in structural drafting but is also ready to shape our drafting function from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings for both temporary works and residential/commercial construction, while also establishing drafting workflows, templates, and standards. As our design offering expands, this role will be critical to scaling our drafting capability and supporting the engineering team’s growth. **What are my accountabilities?** + Produce detailed structural drawings for temporary works and residential/commercial construction projects. + Take ownership of drafting processes, templates, and standards across the engineering team. + Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and QA team to continuously improve drafting workflows and documentation. + Provide mentorship and leadership to future drafting team members as the team expands. + Ensure drawings meet relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. + Make meaningful improvements to drafting standards and processes as part of our continuous improvement framework. **About you:** + Minimum 10 years’ experience producing structural drawings and designs using AutoCAD. + Locally recognised qualifications in Structural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or Computer-Aided Drafting. + Proven ability to develop and implement drafting standards and processes. + Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across engineering and project teams. + Prior people management experience desirable **Caring Culture** It’s at the heart of everything we do, and we show we care by living our core values: Empathy, Accountability, Inclusion, Collaboration, and Growth.
