Job Description – Senior Structural Designer (Offshore) Roles and Responsibilities: + Preparation of offshore structural engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SP3D and PDMS/E3D. + Ensure all drawings comply to relevant industry codes, standards, and Company specifications. + Coordinate with other disciplines for interface requirements and review of IDC drawings from other disciplines. + Preparation of material take-offs (MTOs) from the design drawings. + Potentially visit offshore project sites to conduct surveys. + Perform self-checks and reviews of drawings for accuracy, completeness, and clarity prior to formal submission. + Manage and update drawing files, documentation, and project data within the company's document management system. + Check & review Structural drawings prepared by other designers + Supervise the work of other structural designers and guide them in their work. + Support the engineering team in developing associated interface drawings. Experience Profile: + Minimum 15 (Fifteen) years of hands-on relevant experience in structural design and drafting related to offshore structures in Oil & Gas field. + Well conversant with structural steel design / engineering drawings. + Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SP3D and PDMS/E3D. + Expert level experience in 3D Model Preparation and Model Reviews + Strong knowledge in Structural design and drafting in all types of Structural design activities including but not limited to the following: + Jacket and Topsides drawings (Green field development and brown field modifications) + Layouts & GA Drawings + Detailed Structural Drawings (Primary, Secondary & Tertiary Structures) + Connection Detail Drawings + Deck Extension & Access Platform drawings + Helideck, Boat Landing, Conductor/Riser Protector, Bridge drawings + Clamp / Support drawings for Risers, J-Tubes, Caissons etc. + Support systems for Piping, Equipment, Cable Trays, HVAC ducts etc. + Lifting Arrangements & Lifting Aids drawings + Constructability Awareness in Structural Design Educational Qualifications: + Diploma in Civil or Structural Competencies/Skills/Others: + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to overcome complex design challenges. + Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, SP3D and PDMS/E3D is typically mandatory. + Experience with Navis Works. + Experience in drawings for marine jetty / coastal structures is an advantage + Confident to give assistance during site visits, doing required measurements and collecting necessary data from site. + Good English communication skills, both written and spoken. + Excellent in using MS Office Applications.
