Structural CAD Designer using Advance Steel and AutoCAD to prepare detailed steel and concrete design drawings for industrial projects.
Job Requirements
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Proficiency with Advance Steel (must have).
Experience preparing and developing design drawings that accurately convey design and construction intent.
Familiarity with industrial projects, including welded and bolted steel construction.
Familiarity with foundations and general concrete detailing.
Ability to perform computer-aided design and basic calculation checking for industrial projects.
Ability to adhere to and consistently apply department design standards.
Preferred Skills
Experience with PDMS or similar 3D plant design software.
Background working on industrial facilities, process plants, or similar environments.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with lead engineers to prepare and develop design drawings for structural steel and concrete components.
Produce detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD and Advance Steel for industrial projects.
Perform CAD-related design tasks, including updating models, layouts, and connection details as required.
Check basic calculations and drawing details to ensure accuracy and alignment with engineering intent.
Ensure all drawings comply with department design standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
Coordinate with project teams to incorporate design changes and maintain up-to-date drawing sets.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
