We are currently looking for a Senior Strategy and Planning Leaf Analyst (fixed-term contract) to join our Leaf team based in Rome.
Your Purpose
As Senior Strategy and Planning Leaf Analyst (fixed-term contract), you will play a key role in supporting the formulation and execution of local leaf strategies, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across the tobacco supply chain. Specifically, you will lead local initiatives and projects supporting Leaf strategies, manage data analysis and operational reporting and collaborate with central teams and cross-functional stakeholders. In addition, you will identify cost optimization opportunities, drive supply chain efficiencies, monitor KPIs, ensure compliance with PMI policies and oversee performance tracking and OB/RF cycles to maintain strategic alignment.
Your ‘Day To Day’
Assist Leaf Management in developing local strategic plans by producing accurate analyses and price forecasts based on sound cost structures and realistic assumptions.Monitor performance against leaf strategy and LPP, lead budget cycles, calculate and report Net cost improvements and productivities, maintain comprehensive reporting and manage Zero-Loss Analysis development according to master plan.Drive visibility of the EU tobacco value chain, lead internal communication plans, support supply chain events and review third-party research on agriculture, innovation and sustainability.Ensure timely maintenance of system parameters in the Green Leaf System, update master data and projections, and identify opportunities for process improvement.Maintain a controlled and compliant environment, formalize supplier contracts, support vendor maintenance activities and assist with corporate and internal audits.Support tracking and reporting of OC projects’ execution and lead innovation-related initiatives when required.
Who we’re looking for
University degree in Business, Economics or related field.3-4 years of experience in structured corporate environments, preferably in roles involving strategy, budgeting or supply chain.Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.Excellent communication and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.Solid knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.Proficiency in MS Excel.Project management and problem-solving mindset.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain compliance with corporate policies.Fluency in English and Italian (mandatory).Willingness to travel within the national territory.
Location: Rome, Italy.
Contract: Temporary – 12 months.
