**Job Description** As a member of the Strategic Purchasing Team, the Senior Strategic Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for compiling and identifying demand at a Maritime Solutions level, work with suppliers and internal customers to identify priorities and monitor market trends for key commodities. The Senior Strategic Purchasing Analyst will negotiate with suppliers to place key material and services under master agreement to help gain efficiencies and lower costs for all BAE Systems Maritime Solutions yards. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Material Management or related field and 6 years of purchasing/sourcing experience. Candidates without a degree may be considered with at least 10 years of purchasing/sourcing experience. + Experience working in DoW contractor supply chain with significant knowledge with FAR and DFAR requirements. + Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly. + Experience with RFQs, quotations, master service agreements and processes. + The ability to rationalize information and articulate understanding of purchasing strategy and vision. + Microsoft office at the intermediate skill level: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Masters degree in business or supply chain completed or working towards is preferred. + Experience with defining processes and procedures in a supply chain or strategic sourcing setting, including forms, metrics and training material. + Experience with presenting and communicating process planning and results to senior leaders. + Experience with planning strategic sourcing, supplier directed events and following through to completion. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
