What you’ll do:
Plan, document, design, and execute test covering manual and automated tests of platform and storage systems.Coordinate with team and execute test cases regarding functional correctness, load, stress and stability tests.Work with developers to analyze test coverage, gaps, failures, and isolate root cause.Plan, coordinate, and configure enterprise class storage networking infrastructure.Develop and enhance automation tools to improve QA processes and test coverage.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.Senior level network and system expert to define and lead qualification of Enterprise storage product efforts. Work often involves cross organizational interactions: Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, other organizations, etcMaintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically 8+ years of total experience.What you need to bring:
Must have in-depth knowledge of OS internals, networking, and storage concepts.Prior experience of bringing up a Hardware platform is highly valued Prior experience using software quality assurance tools and processes.Prior experience in software testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Understanding of design for software and firmware running on multiple platform typesSolid experience with firmware (BIOS, BMC, HBA) testingWorking experience with PCIe, RDMA and NVMe/NVMe-oF interfaces for platform based productsComfortable working in Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.Must have strong working knowledge of Shell, Python for large enterprise class softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills:
