**Job Description Summary**
As a Senior Staff Engineer – Commercial Field Service, you will be expected to perform not only the duties of a Senior Field Service Engineer but will also be expected to take on an expanded leadership role within your regional field service team.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
More specifically, you will:
+ Serve as the primary GE on-site and/or mobile technical representative before, during, and after aircraft entry into service
+ Provide program leadership, technical direction, and hands on troubleshooting assistance to the customer in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines
+ Supports customer installed base on customer issue resolutions, fleet issues, service bulletin implementations, monitoring and diagnostics, fleet configuration, and outage management
+ Interpret OEM & technical manuals where necessary
+ Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training need opportunities
+ Leverage lean principles to assist the customer in finding proactive reliability enhancements to drive a reduced cost of ownership
+ Produce data analytics and timely reporting of fleet status, program updates, events, and trends to key internal stakeholders
+ Provide recommendations on opportunities for proactive maintenance based on engine performance analytics
+ Share voice of customer insights to key internal stakeholders regularly to assist with data collection and timely reporting of performance analyses, marketing intelligence, and potential sales opportunities
+ Influences and shapes CFS division practices, policies, and culture
+ Aid in the hiring selection process through participation in candidate interviews and sourcing of new talent
+ Training, onboarding, and continued mentoring of new team members
+ Manage office space needs including but not limited to supplies management
+ Own personnel scheduling for the site
**Minimum Qualifications**
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have a:
+ A Bachelor's of Engineering or technical degree from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of full time working experience in airline operations or maintenance planning, engineering, aviation propulsion, or related field (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of full time work experience in fields noted above)

+ Ability to lead and deliver on result orientated priorities using strong project management, analytical, time management and prioritization skills
+ Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to forge deep relations at all levels, not only with key internal stakeholders but also with the customer
+ Passion to gain a deeper understanding of the commercial function and driving success for Aerospace with internal/external stakeholders, our customers, partners and colleagues

The base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $217,000 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 9/1/2025.
