**Senior Staff Engineer, Continuous Improvement**

**Position Summary:**
We’re looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement professional to lead key Lean and Six Sigma initiatives that drive efficiency, quality and performance across our operations.
In this role, you’ll act as a technical leader, designing, implementing and sustaining process improvements that make a real impact on cost and productivity. You’ll take ownership of major projects, coach others in Lean methodologies, and help build a culture of operational excellence.
You’ll help shape how we design, build and continuously improve what we do. This is a chance to lead meaningful change, develop processes and systems that deliver results.
**What You’ll Do** **:**
+ Lead investigations, analysis, and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve lead time, productivity, first pass yield, and cost performance.
+ Manage and deliver significant improvement projects through the PMO, ensuring results are both measurable and sustainable.
+ Lead value stream mapping (VSM) and lean lighthouseprojects that align with site and business strategy.
+ Partner closely with engineering, quality, and operations to support technology development, process optimization, and automation initiatives.
+ Develop and implement best practices and standards for Industrial Engineering.
+ Provide development and guidance in problem solving for assigned co-op, technicians and engineers.
+ Support and lead Kaizen and waste elimination projects that deliver meaningful value to the business.
+ Guide teams in Lean fundamentals, VSM, SMED, and work measurement techniques, ensuring improvements stick.
+ Collaborate on layout design and process changes to ensure alignment with Lean principles and optimised flow.
+ Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional CI initiatives.
+ Provide technical and cultural leadership in promoting a continuous improvement mindset across teams.
**What You’ll Need** **:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
+ Proven record of leading and implementing Lean and CI projects, not just facilitating but delivering real, quantifiable improvements.
+ Strong understanding of Lean tools (e.g. VSM, Kaizen, SMED etc.)
+ Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (Master Black Belt a plus).
+ Experience setting up new CI programs or frameworks from the ground up.
